Transparency in the French electricity market: UFE and RTE publish additional information on French electricity generation
As part of their continuing efforts to promote greater transparency in the French electricity market, RTE and the generators of UFE have now created a new page on the RTE Customer Portal, for publishing additional information designed to give market players an even clearer picture of the country's supply of electricity.

Transparency improvement in the French electricity market: RTE and UFE to publish new data on French power generation
Following the European Commission's recent publication of the REMIT Regulation on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency, UFE and RTE are further enhancing the provision of data on French power generation, marking another new step towards greater transparency in the French electricity market. From today, market players will be able to access two new categories of data on RTE's Customer Website : actual generation by units rated over 100 MW published within the hour, and day-ahead generation forecasts for the UFE fleet.

RTE’s analysis of the supply-demand balance for winter 2011-2012: moderate risk of an interruption in the electricity supply in France
RTE today publishes its analysis of the electricity supply-demand balance for the winter period 2011-2012. RTE believes the risk of an interruption in supply in France to be moderate throughout the winter period. The electricity supply situation should be similar to last winter.
