Thomas Veyrenc, managing director of the Economy, Strategy and Finance Division
Thomas Veyrenc has been a member of RTE’s Managing Board and Managing Director of the Economy, Strategy and Finance Division since 2023. A CentraleSupélec engineer and graduate of University College London and Sciences Po Paris, he joined RTE in 2006, where he has held various responsibilities in the fields of studies, markets and regulation.

Since 2018, he has been responsible for energy forecasting and industrial strategy, and in particular for releasing RTE’s reference prospective studies such as Energy Pathways 2050. Thomas Veyrenc is also responsible for establishing and implementing the company’s strategy and regulatory framework. In this capacity, he oversaw the production of the 2019 and 2025 editions of the French grid development plan (SDDR) and steers RTE’s industrial and financial development.
