eCO2mix - Key figures
Here you will find key figures about nation-wide and regional power consumption, output, trade and power flows across the RTE network between the regions (excluding Corsica).
Here you will find key figures about nation-wide and regional power consumption, output, trade and power flows across the RTE network between the regions (excluding Corsica).
RTE provides you with nation-wide and regional key figures (excluding Corsica) on the following subjects:
These nation-wide and regional figures provide indicators including "maximum regional consumption" and "average wind-power coverage", to mention just a few.
While these indicators are provided for the current year and for the previous year, you will also find the maximum historical records (from the 1st of January 2012 for nation-wide data and from the 1st of January 2013 for regional data).
NB: Data about installed capacity is updated once a month. France’s installed capacity covers all regions of mainland France (excluding Corsica).
Power flows are carried across the lines of the public transmission system between regions (region to region or region to country in the case of cross-border regions). Key figures show the balance of power flows entering and exiting a region. Depending on whether the balance is a plus or a minus (+ or -), the region either imports or exports electricity.
Additionally, the maximum incoming flow means that a region’s output is less than its consumption: the region therefore has to import electricity to meet its needs. Some regions are constantly exporting electricity. In those cases, the maximum incoming flow is always 0 MW as the power-flow balance is never on the import side.
